CUAV
Founded in 1979, Community United Against Violence (CUAV) works to build the power of LGBTQQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) communities to transform violence and oppression. We support the healing and leadership of those impacted by abuse and mobilize our broader communities to replace cycles of trauma with cycles of safety and liberation.

NIA Collective
was created by and for Lesbians of African descent.  The organization was founded in 1987 during the Black Caucus at the Lesbian of Color Conference in San Francisco.

The "purpose" of NIA Collective is to collectively build a network through self-definition, self-acceptance and acceptance of each other as lesbians, as people of African descent and as women.

First 5 Contra Costa
invests Proposition 10 tobacco tax revenues in local health and education programs for expectant parents and children birth to age five. First 5 funded programs help local children grow up healthy, nurtured, and ready for school.

Lyon-martin
provides personalized healthcare and support services to women and transgender people who lack access to quality care because of their sexual or gender identity, regardless of their ability to pay.

Lyon-Martin Health Services is the only free-standing clinic California with a specific emphasis on lesbian/bisexual women and transgender health care.

San Francisco Pride
The Mission of the San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Celebration Committee is to educate the World, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture, and liberate our people.

Oakland Black LGBTQ Pride Inc. is a non-profit organization established this year(2010) to provide a celebration of diversity, education, tolerance, and equality. Our organization is dedicated to working towards closing the social generational gap in Oakland between LGBTQ youth and adults through communication, education, and mentoring. We want to help direct and empower our youth towards healthier and more productive lifestyles. Our Slogan is “Bridging the gap… making a difference.
